Would you like some… Yes, please. 3.功能: 谈论节日。 ◆ 语言技能目标 1.能使用句型Would you like… 询问他人是否想要某种食物。 2.能就所学知识进行简短的对话。 3.能用所学的单词表达不同节日中的不同食物。 ◆ 情感态度 培养热情好客的良好品质。 ◆ 文化意识 1.通过感恩节, 了解西方国家的饮食文化。 2.知道中西方不同的就餐习惯和就餐礼仪。 教具准备 1.单词卡片: help yourselves, corn, soup, salad, better, luck等。 2.一个小篮子。 3.录音机或教学光盘。 ◆教学过程 Step 1Warming up 1.师生互致问候。 2.学唱歌曲: Happy Thanksgiving to You。 3.通过歌曲, 揭示并板书课题: Unit 7 ThanksgivingPart B。 Step 2Review 1.师生自由对话, 复习上节课的内容。 When is Thanksgiving How do American people spend Thanksgiving Can Sally invite her friends to the dinner … 2.通过上节课的课后作业, 引出有关食物的复习。 （1）教师说: “Can you tell me something about Thanksgiving ”学生根据所查资料, 简单说一说感恩节的一些文化习俗。 （2）教师再提出问题: “What do American people usually have for Thanksgiving dinner ”学生自由回答, 碰到不会说的也可以用中文表达。教师将学生所说的食物的图片贴在黑板上。 （3）请学生读一读黑板上的有关食物的单词, 然后请个别学生上台, 在图片下方写出英文单词。碰到没有学过的单词可以跳过。 （4）复习名词的复数形式。 教师指一个单词, 学生就快速说出它的复数形式, 如: T: Potato.S: Some potatoes. T: Beef.S: Some beef. Step 3Presentation （一）呈现课文内容并学习有关食物的新单词。 1.教师说: “Thanksgiving is an important holiday for American.Look at the picture.Sally’s family are having a big family dinner.They invite some friends to join them.There are a lot of delicious food on the table.What do American people have for Thanksgiving dinner ” 2.教师播放课文录音或CD-ROM, 学生边听边记对话中提到的食物名称。 3.请学生上台, 取下自己记住的食物名称的图片, 并带回到自己的座位上, 留下“玉米”“汤”“水果沙拉”三幅图片。 4.教学新词corn, soup和salad。X k B 1 . c o m （1）出示corn的单词卡片, 在字母组合or下画条红线, 请学生说出其基本发音/ /, 然后引导学生自主拼读出/k n/。请学生说说自己对“玉米”的喜好, 如: I like corn.或I don’t like corn. （2）出示单词卡片, 教学soup。 请学生说说自己所知道的汤的种类, 如: chicken soup, fish soup, vegetable soup等。 （3）出示单词卡片, 教学salad, 教师示范单词的正确发音, 告诉学生汉语的“沙拉”是英语的音译。请学生用英语说说自己吃过的“沙拉”的种类, 如: fruit salad, vegetable salad, potato salad等。 （二）自读课文并学习新句型。 1.出示课本第52页的图, 教师指着图说: “They are having dinner.What do they say at dinner Please read the dialogue by yourselves.”边说边出示yourselves的单词卡片, 让学生明白其含义。 2.学生自读课文, 通过上下文和单词表, 看看是否读懂对话内容。 3.教学句子: Please help yourselves to the food.和Please try some fruit salad. （1）教师出示词组卡片help yourselves to, 指着黑板上的食物图片, 做邀请客人吃的动作, 说: “Please help yourselves to the food.”学生模仿跟读。 （2）教师出示fruit, vegetable, pot ... ...
