Dad shouted, “It must be an earthquake!“ I was scared, and Dad told us to cover our heads and get out of the house. We quickly put on our shoes and ran down the stairs as fast as we could. We saw some of our neighbours running downstairs too. Once we were outside, Dad said we should stay in an open space in case there were more earthquakes. My parents checked their phones for news, and it turned out there was a small earthquake in a nearby province. We stayed outside for a while, just in case of aftershocks. Even though it was frightening at first, we were glad it was just a small earthquake and that everyone was safe.
