Step1: Lead-in & Warm-up We will learn how to write a short, three-paragraph article about an artwork. And we will use this beautiful painting, Vincent van Gogh's Sunflowers, as our example. Step2:Pre-Writing Let's open our books to page 47. We will use Activities 5 and 6 as our guide. Look for two types of information: Facts and Feelings or Stories. The sunflower paintings held special meaning for Van Gogh. When his friend Paul Gauguin, who was also a famous painter, came to live with him for a while, he hung the first two in his guest’s room to welcome him.
