In the first conversation, Fu Xing sends birthday wishes to Helen. Helen then takes the opportunity to ask Fu Xing about her birthday and age, and invites her to her birthday party. In the second conversation, Teng Fei doesn’t know what birthday gift to give his father, so he asks Ella for advice. In the third conversation, Peter asks Meimei about Ms Gao’s birthday, as he wants to perform for her on her special day. Through the three conversations, students will be able to master English expressions related to birthdays and improve their listening and speaking skills. On this once-a-year special occasion, they will learn to express their wishes, ask about ages and dates, and master other daily communication skills.
