The scenery there is beyond description and there exists a variety of valuable plants and animals. Apart from the impressive scenery, Fanjing Mountain, one of the five most famous Buddhist holy sites, has a good number of temples in typical Chinese style. Thanks to its special features, it was placed on the World Heritage List in July, 2018. Read the passage and answer the questions. 1. Where is Fanjing Mountain Why is it significant Fanjing Mountain is located in Guizhou Province. It is significant because it represents one of the country’s great achievements in environmental protection. 5 2.
