The study trip, aimed to broaden students’ horizons and encourage students to pursue their dreams, was scheduled to visit Tsinghua University. We were first shown around the campus with canteens and dormitories included, where we had a general understanding of what university life was like. Followed was a physics lesson given by a renowned professor, making it possible for us to consult a university teacher face to face. Last but not least, what impressed me most was an opportunity to perform an experiment in Tsinghua Lab. It was the advanced technology there that inspired me with a great motivation to pursue my dream of becoming a Tsinghua student in the future. All of the experience above in Tsinghua University highlighted my strong desire to study there. If possible, I am looking forward to next study trip. Yours, Li Hua 第二节(满分25分) Looking at the gift inside, Joe’s smile disappeared suddenly. His face turned red. He didn’t cry or complain. He stayed completely silent. He wouldn’t even look at anyone else in the room. As I watched, my own expectation turned to something like regret. Joe put his whole stocking aside, hiding it so our parents wouldn’t see how “Santa” had treated him. I’d never told anyone what I’d done. But it still troubled me, even all these years later. I must tell him the truth when I called him this Christmas. I said on the phone, “Hey, Joe, do you remember that Christmas morning when you were five … your stocking…” Joe said, “Coal! Of course I remember! Wow, you really frightened me that time.” To my relief, my brother burst out laughing. “I was embarrassed!” he added. “I waited until everyone had left the room. Then I took the rocks outside. I didn’t want Mom and Dad to know I was naughty!” “I guess if either of us should get coal in a Christmas stocking that year it must be me,” I said. It felt so good to say it, even if Joe never mentioned it. It turned out Joe’s forgiveness — even all these years later — was the best stocking present I could have wished for. 听力材料: Text 1 W: How about a picnic this weekend M: Oh, I have to study for the final exam most of ... ...
