Justification: To make sure the activities connected with their real life. Step 2. Presentation. Present the new words and phrases: gardening, playing volleyball, reading a book. Show pictures of each activity and teach the words one by one. Present the sentence structure: "What are you doing right now " and "I'm...". Use actions and gestures to demonstrate the meaning of the sentence. Step 3. Practice. 1a: Write the activities in the box under the pictures. Show the pictures in 1a and ask the ss to match the activities with the pictures. 1b: Listen to the conversations and answer the questions. Play the recording for the first time.
