The announcement was made at a ceremony in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. With this latest addition, a total of 19 villages in China have now received this global honor. Launched in 2021, the “Best Tourism Villages” initiative aims to identify and reward outstanding rural destinations that are leading in preserving their natural landscapes, cultural diversity, and culinary (烹饪) traditions.
