Unit 5 On the road Understanding ideas 教学设计 【基本教学信息】 【课时名称】Understanding ideas : Blogging Australia 【授课课型及时长】 Reading :1课时(40min) 【文本分析】 【What】语篇类型为访谈，本文以访谈的形式，一问一答，介绍了澳大利亚职业摄影博主Lauren Bath的工作内容、与西澳大利恶州的渊源，以及她对环保的看法及所做的努力。 【Why】访谈内容层层深入，体现出递进的逻辑，引导学生深入理解Travel broadens the mind的主题意义并分享旅行的好处。思考旅行的意义，树立环保意识以及通过旅行了解世界的意识。 【How】篇章结构： 阅读文本：本文以访谈的形式，一问一答，分为 who, what, how三个主要部分。 第一部分：para1 Reasons for being a photography 第二部分，para2-3 Her favourite region 第三部分：para4 Impact of photography 文本语言特点： 主要是采用一般过去式和一般现在时描述经历。 Until a few years ago I was a chef, and a happy one at that.... 语言生动形象，运用了优美的形容词描述美景。 The Kimberley region, in particular, is unique and untouched… 【学情分析】 授课对象为高一年级学生，他们刚刚实现初高中的角色转换，大多数学生词汇量储备不足，整体语言能力水平不高，但是学生整体学习氛围良好，大部分学生对英语学习的兴趣浓厚，课堂上认真听讲、表现积极，有提高自身英语水平的意愿。 在学习兴趣方面，学生对人与动物这一主题较有兴趣。通过单元Starting out的学习，已激活学生对动物相关话题的兴趣，有利于本课更具体、深入的学习。 在学习基础方面，经过之前的学习，语言基础薄弱，在理解语篇所承载的语言知识上会存在一定困难。因此，在教学过程中，需帮助学生运用相应阅读策略，处理语言难点，进而构建新知结构，探索人与自然主题意义。 在学习能力方面，该班为理科班级，学生逻辑分析能力较强，有良好的独立思考能力，但语言表达能力和自信不够。在教学过程中，要引导学生分析文本，鼓励学生大胆表达。 【本课时教学目标】 1.Lead students to obtain cultural information about Western Australia from the text through skimming , and master the language knowledge related to the topic . 2.
