Unit 5 Choosing a new flat 教案 1教学目标 By the end of the class, the students are expected to able to 1) Use adjectives to make comparisons e.g. My bedroom is the smallest. 2) Use the simple present tenses to express needs e.g. I need a bigger room for my things. 2学情分析 本课讨论重点为choosing a new flat, 在6A的教材中就有教学生描绘住家地址的话题,本单元则有进一步要求描述所住公寓结构的要求,是对以往知识的延伸和拓展。 本单元还有一个重点句型 would like to…,这一句型在6B Module 4 等单元先后有出现,对学生不再是新的知识点,但是教师在课堂仍然需要操练,让学生更好的复习和巩固这一功能句型。 本课还涉及到室内描述,运用介词beside, near, next to, in front of, opposite, between等,学生应在本课中熟练掌握运用这些介词的用法, 是对以往学过的介词的用法的巩固和加强。 3重点难点 1) Why do the Lis want to move How many rooms are there in their flat How many bedrooms are there What kind of flat do the Lis want Where will they go to find a new flat 2) indicating preference(表达“偏好”) --What kind of flat would you like --I’d like a flat with a bigger bedroom. --Where would you like to live -- Near the sea. 3) Showing the directions(表达方位): Put it near the kitchen. Put the cupboard next to it. Put the TV opposite the sofa. Put it between the sofa and the TV on the floor. Put the armchairs near the sofa and the small table in front of the sofa. 4) Agreement (表达同意) -- This flat is too small for us now, We need to move to a bigger flat. -- I agree. 4教学过程 活动1【讲授】. I. Pre-task preparation A: Act out a short play: Ben’s accident B: After the short play, answer the teacher’s questions about the short play. C: Look and learn Please look at the pictures and guess the meanings of the words. Read the new words. living room, bedroom bathroom, kitchen Balcony, wardrobe Untidy=not tidy, tidy up 活动2【活动】II. While-task procedure Group work. Talk about the students’ living condition according to the following questions. 1. Where do you live Do you live in the city centre or in the suburbs Do you live in Song jiang Old Town or Songjiang New City 2. Do you live near or far away from our school 3. Do you live near busy streets or near a quiet street 4. What’s the name of your housing estate Which block and flat do you live in Which floor do you live on 5. Is your flat big or small 6. How many rooms does your flat have What are they 7. Have you got a big room or a small room 8. Do you clean your bedroom by yourself 9. How often do you clean your room 10. Play tape recording for Read. Students listen and repeat the sentences one by one. With their books closed, repeat one by one. 2. Read the dialogue with the tape. 3.
