Learn some im portant palaces in the Palace Museum by showing a map and some pictures.. Step3.Reading 1.Read the poster quickly in A1 and answer the questions: 1.)How many palaces are there in the poster 2.)What are they Step4 Listening 1.Pre-listening Read the poster carefully and complete part of the table in part A2. 2.While-listening 1. Listen to the tape and fill in “Things to see” 2.Listen to the tape and fill in “Time”. 3. Listen to the tape again and check answers. Post-listening 1.Underline the mistakes in A4 and correct them. 2.Complete an e-mail. 3. Talk about the Palace Museum with the students. Step5 Speak up 1.Listen to the tape and answer some simple questions. 1).What can they do in Beihai Park 2).When and where will they meet 3).How far is Beihai Park from Neil’s hotel 2. Read the dialogue loudly. 3. Show some pi ctures about the places of interest in our city and make a similar dialogue. Step 6 Homework. 1.Recite the dialogue in Part B. 2.Try to design a poster about Tianmu Lake as the modle in part A1 on page 37. 本课主要是以参观故宫为主。先是带领交换生参观故宫的几个主要宫殿，再是由Simon带领Neil参观北海公园，最后是学生自己编的旅游。 通过与学生交流，导入新课。 导入新课后先是通 过介绍故宫引出几个主要宫殿，通过各个宫殿的物品教授新单词，接着让学生读海报，去了哪些宫殿，看到哪些物品，帮助学生解决A1表格上的部分问题，也训练了学生的阅读能力。听力部分由于信息量比较大，所以分成两部分听，先听things to see, 然后听时间这样可以降低他们听的难度。最后用Neil的e-mail帮助他们复习故宫。最后处理Speak up 由于时间原因，这部分处理的比较仓促，尤其是学生自编对话部分，训练不够到位，学生不怎么会说。 感觉整节课上下来环节不是很紧凑，思路不够开阔，有待提高。(
