Knowledge aims: ①Students can listen, speak, read and write these words and sentences: favorite, player , P.E, science ,subject , artist , music , scientist ,basketball, be good at+ v-ing What’s your favorite…… Who’s your favorite…. ②Students can listen, speak and read the words : difficult, calculate ③Sound:[ai ] 2. Ability aims: By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to: 1. Get to know the meaning of “favorite, player, P.E, science, subject, artist, music, and scientist” both in spoken and written forms, and pronounce them clearly; 2. Use structures like “What’s your favorite … ” to talk about their favorite things. And “be good at+ v-ing” to talk about they are good at doing sth. 2学情分析 六年级的孩子大多数已掌握了足够多的词汇,已经具有了较好的听说读写的能力,所以在学本节课内容时应该比较轻松和容易。而且本节内容涉及到喜欢的人和食物,学生比较感兴趣,学习热情应该会很高。但别学生在favore, calculate, subject的发音上由于受当地口音的影响,会有一定的困难,需反复指导和纠正。 3重点难点 Focus of the lesson: 学生能够运用以下句型表达自己擅长做的事情,对自己喜爱的科目以及喜爱的人物进行问答交流。 be good at +v-ing What’s your favorite…… Who’s your favorite…. 4. Predicted area of difficulty: 1. Students can distinguish “What’s your favorite…… ” and “Who’s your favorite… ” 2. The pronunciation of “scientist.”(词中第一个字母i 的发音 [ai ]) 4教学过程 活动1【导入】warm-up and revision Step I : Warm-up and revision. 1. Greeting. 2. Have a chant. Season, season, which season do you like best Fall, fall, I like fall best. Color, color, which color do you like best Blue, blue. I like blue best. Animal, animal, which animal do you like best Rabbits, rabbits, I like rabbits best. (设计意图:复习环节所涉及到的句型which…. do you like best 是为本课导入新知服务的,以旧带新的方式符合了孩子们的学习规律.) 活动2【导入】presentation Step II : Presentation 1. Look at the pictures and say out the words quickly: (math Chinese English P.E art science music) 2. T: Math is a subject, and they are all subjects. Students learn to read the word “subject”. T: They are subjects. “u” pronounce [∧],“e” pronounce [i]. 3. T: Can you guess “which subject do I like best ” Yes, I like English best. So we can say “My favorite subject is English.” Students learn to read the word “favorite” in lines. Then read the sentence “My favorite subject is English.” one by one. T: My favorite subject is English. You can ask me “What’s your favorite subject ” students learn to read the sentence. Then teacher ask and answer with some students. 4. Pair work.
