    Lesson 12 Guess My Hero! ┃教学整体设计┃ 【教学目标】 1.能准确地发音和使用crosswo rd,puzzle,based,whom,anybody,chemistry等词汇。能够掌握On Monday,Ms.Liu asked us to make crossword puzzles based on facts about our heroes.I thought it would be fun because I did a lot of crossword puzzles when I was in Canada.I thought about it as I walked to and from school.My hero wouldn’t be anybody famous.It would be somebody who I like very much.等句子。 2.能够运用before,after,as,that引导的复合句。 3.读懂有关名人的文章,明白文章主旨大意和掌握理解文章结构的技能。 4.能用before,after,as引导的时间状语从句和that引导的定语从句进行表达。 【教学重难点】 重点:掌握本课的词汇和短语。 难点:掌握状语从句和定语从句的运用。 【课前准备】 多媒体课件,录音机,实物投影仪 ┃教学过程设计┃ 教学过程   一、创设情境,切入主题Step 1 Leading in在本环节中,让学生想想自 己心目中的名人英雄是谁,老师展示各个行业名人的图片,学生互动,通过对话询问学生喜欢的名人是谁,他/她来自哪里,因为什么而出名等问题。学生回答优秀的给其所在的小组加分。T:Boys and g irls,in this procedure,you will revise some new words and do pair work to practice the sentences:Who is your hero Where was he born?What is he famous for?Then I will show you some pictures.You will ask and answer questions like this:S1:Who is your hero S2:Zhang Haidi.S1:Where was she born S2:She was born in China.S1:What is she famous for S2:She is famous for fighting against illness and helping others.Ask some pairs to act out their dialogues in front of the class.设计意图:通过多媒体屏幕向学生展示名人的图片,学生互动,想象自己心目中的英雄,极大地引起了学生的兴趣,谈论自己心目中英雄的事迹,自然导入本课话题。   二、展开过程,探究新知Step 2:Pre readingT:OK,we have talked about your own hero.Now we will learn the following new words:crossword,puzzle,based,whom, anybody,chemistry.And this will help you to learn the lesson.
