Unit 4 Activities Lesson 22 This is the first lesson in this unit. It will be introduced through the actions of rabbits and monkeys. Children will be able to grasp the meaning of the verbs as a whole. 【知识目标】 Key vocabulary: jump and climb Key structures: Who can… 【能力目标】 Students can use "Who can..." to describe the movements of animals according to their life experience and learned English knowledge. 【情感目标】 Through the study of this lesson, let students know how to use the key sentences to communicate with classmates and different verbs to describe the movement of objects. Cultivate students' emotional attitudes towards life. 【教学重点】 Learn and use words Jump and climb. 【教学难点】 Understand and master the verbs. Combined with their own life experience and learned English knowledge ,students can use sentence patterns: "Who can..." describe the behavior of animals. Tape recorder, Multimedia Step 1. Greetings and warm-up activities Review words rabbit, monkey, bear and panda. Step 2. Watch the cartoon and answer the questions Ask the students ‘Do you know what the animals do?’. Tell students about the actions which animals is doing(Lead-in). Learn the pronunciation of jump and climb. Then, watch the video. ———Who can jump? ———Rabbits/Monkeys can jump. Step 3. Practice According to different pictures listen and say. Role-play, different students play different animals. 5 groups of students is invited. Step 4. Sing Learn the song. Jump, jump, jump. Jump, jump, jump. Little Rabbit, jump, jump, jump. Climb, climb, climb. Climb, climb, climb. Little monkey, climb, climb, climb. Step 5. Homework Copy the words and text of Unit 4.
