    Unit 6 travelling around Asia Reading 教案 I. Analysis of the teaching material 1. This is the 5th period of Unit 6, Oxford English, 7A. The previous periods of this unit has already taught Ss many key words and expressions about travelling and conditional sentences. So this is a revision period and focuses on the language using, especially using conditional sentences in speaking and writing. 2. This period requires students to make a travel guide about their own city. II. Analysis of the students 1. Class 15 is one of the English classes in Grade One.The students are activer than the other classes. They have certain ability of English listening and speaking. 2. They have learnt many words and expressions about travelling as well as conditional sentences in the previous lessons. 3. They need more chances to practise using the language in class. III. Teaching objectives 1. Knowledge objectives 1) Get Ss to master the key words and expressions about travelling. 2) Get Ss to better understand the usage of conditional sentences. 2. Ability objectives 1) Develop Ss’ writing ability of using conditional sentences. 2) Develop Ss’ speaking ability of using conditional sentences. 3. Moral objectives 1) Get Ss to know more about their own cities. 2) Get Ss to be proud of Guangzhou and learn to be considerate of others. IV. Teaching methods 1. Situational method 2.
