Leading in (3minutes) Ask students to watch a short video and lead in the topic. Watch the video and say something about it . 切入主题，引发兴趣。 II. Pre-reading (3 minutes) 1. Guide students to understand some new words. 2. Ask students to Look at the picture and choose the words to fill in the correct boxes. 1. Learn some new words 2. Recognize the identity of each particular person in the picture . 了解故事背景和课文中将出现的角色名称，扫清障碍以便更好地理解课文。 III. While-reading (21 minutes) First-reading Ask students to read each part of the story and find out basic information about the story. (8 minutes) Second-reading Ask students to read the story again and and then find out the elements and the plot of the story . （5 minutes） Third-reading Ask students to read the story in details and complete the form, and then check the answers. (8 minutes) 1. First-reading (1) Read Lines1-7 and Lines 8-14, underline the facts to support the answers according to the questions while reading. (2) Read Lines 15-24 and decide whether the statements are T or F. (3) Read Lines 25-44 and infer the answers . (4) Read Lines 45-51,and complete the table.
