We use not as… as to say that people or things are not the same in some ways. The two girls are not as tall as Mr. Wu. not as…as=not so…as 不如…一样 The green apple is not as weight as the red apple. = The green apple is not so weight as the red apple. Rewrite ①②③ This pencil is not so/as long as that one. His bag is not so/as heavy as hers.
