Discuss in groups and ask someone to show his experience. 动作制作纸花,并描述制作过程。 根据几个要点和问题,简单组织语言,介绍一下自己的制作经历。 与本单元Reading内容紧密连接,创造学生心中熟悉的场景,引导他们通过熟悉的文章初步感受描述DIY时应当考虑的写作要素并自然过渡到本单元写作话题。 讲授新课 1. Discuss How to write a diary. Discuss what need to be present in a diary. Date Weather Story(past) Feeling and thinking 3. Reading Read the passage and answer these questions. (1) Why didn’t Suzy make the card at home? (2)Who helped Suzy? (3) What colour did she use for the roses? Ask some students show their answers. Read the passage again and choose Suzy’s mistakes. Ask some students show their answers. 4. Reading Translate the article. Retell Suzy’s diary with the help of outline. Ask some students to do so. 5. Activity Try to introduce your DIY experience to your partner. Cut the whole experience in to three part: plan, process, result. Use the useful expressions on page 52. After that, please tell us your partner’s DIY. 6. writing Write your own diary entry about a DIY job you did. Use the ideas on page 53. Show your diary to others.
