And in winter, we have the Spring Festival. ... 课前准备 教师课前需要准备录音机、磁带、教学挂图、单词卡片和有关季节的图片。 教学过程 1.Warm-up. 在前几册书中,学生已经初步学习月份、季节的单词,教师可以以此为切入点。比如,教师可以说:Look outside, everyone! What’s the weather like today? Oh, it’s sunny and warm. What a good spring day! 先引导学生讨论天气,回忆以前所学内容。然后,逐步将话题引向季节,比如教师可以向学生展示一些有关春暖花开的景物图片,问学生:What season is it? 引导学生回答:It’s spring. 然后,再向学生展示反映其他季节特征的图片,让学生继续谈论。这样,逐步将话题转移到本节课所讲内容上来。 2.任务1的教学: (1)在进行上述活动的基础上,让学生看Look,listen and act的教学内容,看对话中出现了哪些人物,提到了哪些季节及特点。(在学生看的过程中,教师将有关生词和What season is it? It’s spring. Its weather is warm and rainy. What about the weather in the south? After summer comes autumn. 等句型写到黑板上,或用多媒体展示出来。) (2)教师简单讲解黑板上或多媒体展示出来的生词和句型。然后,教学生认读、跟读和记忆。 (3)播放Look, listen and act的录音,先让学生听两遍。在听懂大意的基础上,给学生布置“任务”,比如:How many seasons are there in a year?Why doesn’t Andy like summer? What is Andy’s favourite season? 等,让学生带着问题、带着目的去听录音。 (4)通过多种形式让学生朗读Look, listen and act的内容,比如:跟录音读,跟教师读,角色扮演朗读(根据对话角色,让不同的学生扮演)。也可以让学生将课文内容换成自己的话来进行复述(注意,复述课文应根据学生实际情况选择使用)。 (5)在学生听懂和熟读的基础上,组织学生以小组为单位,进行角色扮演,模仿Look, listen and act的内容进行对话表演。(在学生进行对话表演时,教师可将Look, listen and act的内容通过图片或多媒体等方式,向学生适当提供情景,以便学生模仿对话时参考。) 语言点解释 ① 在spring, summer, autumn, winter前多不用冠词。例如:Spring is coming now. Winters and springs are very wet in this part of the world. 注:在美国英语中,fall可指“秋天”。 ② 英语习惯说spring, summer, autumn, winter等,通常不说spring season , summer season ,autumn season , winter season 。例如:Autumn is the best season for travel. 不可说:Autumn season is the best season for travel. ③ it’s与its不同:it’s是it is的缩略形式,its意思是“它的”。例如:It’s spring.
