    Unit11 Mother’s Day 第1课时教学设计 【内容来源】三年级下册Module4 Unit11 【主 题】Look and learn, Listen and enjoy 【课 时】第1课时 教学目标(Teaching aims) 1. 帮助学生学习儿歌,了解母亲节文化。 2. 让学生初步了解如何在母亲节时向妈妈表达美好的祝愿和爱意。 二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties) 词汇:flower, tea, love 三、教学准备(Teaching preparation) 课件、音频。 四、教学过程(Teaching process) Pre-task preparations 1. 出示班上个别学生和妈妈的合影,让其他学生猜猜她是谁,然后播放Listen and enjoy的儿歌录音,为接下来的学习渲染气氛。 T: (show a photo of S1 and his/her mother) Who is the boy/girl? S2: He’s/She’s... (S1’s name) T: (point to the mother) Who is she? S3: She’s... ’s mother. 教师可以通过以下问题引导学生谈一谈他们的妈妈: (1) Who do you like best in your family? Is it your mum or dad? (2) What does your mother look like? (3) Is your mother tall or short? (4) Is your mother fat or thin? (5) Is your mother beautiful? (6) What do you like doing with your mother? 2. 通过自由交淡的方式让学生聊聊自己的妈妈,然后出示一张孩子给妈妈送花的图片,如Listen and enjoy左下角图,让学生讨论一下为什么Sally要给母亲送花,从而引出本单元的话题Mother’s Day。 T: Our mothers love and care for us. We love our mothers too. (show the picture to the class) Look at Sally. What does she give to her mother? S1: She gives flowers to her mother. T: Why does she give her flowers? S2: It’s New Year’s Day. S3: It’s Mum’s birthday. T: It’s Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day is a day for mothers. While-task procedures 1. 出示一张日历,指向五月,然后将五月的日历放大,圈出五月份的第二个星期天,帮助学生了解母亲节的时间。然后告诉学生可以在母亲节时送妈妈一些礼物以表达对妈妈的美好祝愿和感谢。 T: Look at the calendar. It’s May. Mother’s Day is in May. (circle the date of the second Sunday in May) It’s on this day, the second Sunday in May. Ss: The second Sunday in May. T: On Mother’s Day, we give our mothers a present and tell her we love her. 2. 出示Listen and enjoy的图片,让学生看图听录音,思考在母亲节时应该向妈妈说些什么。 T: What can we say to Mum on Mother’s Day? S1: Happy Mother’s Day. T: Happy Mother’s Day. Ss: Happy Mother’s Day. T: What else? S2: Dear Mummy, I love you. T: Dear Mummy, I love you. Ss: Dear Mummy, I love you. 3. 出示各种物品的照片或图片,让学生思考在母亲节时可以送给妈妈的礼物,从而进入Look and learn的词汇教学,如果学生有困难,教师应及时帮助。 T: (show photos of a flower, a book, a toy bear, an egg, a card and a cup of tea) What can we give to our mothers on Mother’s Day?
