Unit 1 Sports Lesson 1 Ping-pong and Basketball 教学目标: 【知识目标】 1、学会本课中的四会单词: ping-pong, football and basketball。 2、学习并掌握重点句型:...is my favourite sport. Do you have…? 3、理解并会朗读短文。 【能力目标】发展学生综合运用语言的能力,培养学生自主探究的能力及与同学的分工合作的能力。能搜集和整理更多体育名词和体育用语。 【情感目标】激发学生学习热情与参与欲望,能够大胆开口,主动模仿,调动学习积极性。培养学生热爱体育运动,加强体育锻炼之情。 重点难点: 【教学重点】重点单词和句型的理解和掌握。 【教学难点】创设语言情境,运用重点单词和句型。介绍自己最喜欢的运动并写出来,形成小文章。 教学准备: Tape recorder, Multimedia 教学过程: Step1. Warm-up Brainstorm: Please talk about the sports you know and you like. Try to say words and sentences as many as they can. Step 2. Presentation Talk about the first conversation on page 2, learn the structure. I like basketball best! What sports do you play, Li Ming? I play football and ping-pong. Ping-pong is my favourite sport. 2.Students work in pairs, ask and answer. A: What sports do you play? B: I play basketball and ping-pong. A: What’s your favourite sport? B: Basketball is my favourite sport. 3. Read and understand the second conversation on Page2. Then answer the questions. Who can teach Jenny to play ping-pang? Li Ming. What does Li Ming always wear to play ping-pang? They are going to play ping-pang and basketball. What need they to buy? They need to buy some ping-pang balls. What does Li Ming always wear to play ping-pang? He always wears a T-shirt. 4. Play the recording, read and repeat the conversations on page 2. Step 3. Drills Listen to the conversations on Page2 again and check the words you hear. sport, wear, any, football, some Step 4. Practice 1. Look and talk. Look at the picture on page3,students work in pairs, complete the dialogue, then try to act it out. 2. Read and write. complete the sentences using “some” and “any” . Students work in groups. See which group can be the first. Step5. Summary and evaluation 1. Read and repeat the key words. 2. Go through the key structures. 3. Ask the students to give themselves an evaluation. Step6. Homework 1. Copy the key words three times. 2. Recite the conversations on Page2.
