Unit 2 Good health to you Lesson 11 Work Hard! 教学目标: 【知识目标】 1、学会本课中的四会单词: high;三会词汇:bedroom, dish, else, important, low, sky。 2、学习并掌握重点句型: Do you /does Jenny work hard? 及关于如何努力工作的一些短语。 3、理解并会朗读短文。 【能力目标】发展学生综合运用语言的能力,培养学生自主探究的能力及与同学的分工合作的能力。会谈论如何在家里,在体育运动方面,在学校如何努力工作。 【情感目标】激发学生学习热情与参与欲望,能够大胆开口,主动模仿,调动学习积极性。教育学生在锻炼好身体,做好自己分内的事情的同时,力所能及地帮助父母。 重点难点: 【教学重点】重点单词和句型的理解和掌握。 【教学难点】创设语言情境,运用重点单词和句型。 教学准备: Tape recorder, Multimedia 教学过程: Step1. Warm-up Show a picture. Have a free talk. Jenny, do you think it's important to work hard? Yes, I do. I work hard at school, at home and at sports. Step 2. Presentation Focus on the key phrase. work hard 2. Read part1 Ask and answer. Jenny, do you work hard at school? Yes, I do. What do you often do? I always go to school on time. I always do my homework. Focus on the key phrases. Then role in play. Play the recorder. Ss read and repeat. Step 3. Drills Circle the key words you learn. high, bedroom, dish, else, important, Step 4. Practice 1. Brain storm. How can we help our parents? 2. Read and say. Look at the picture on page29, ask and answer in pairs. Does Kim work hard at home? Yes. She does. What does Kim do at home? She often dries the dishes and waters the flowers. What else does Kim do at home? She cleans her bedroom on Saturdays, and makes her lunch before she goes to school. Step5. Summary and evaluation 1. Go through the key words and structures. 2. Ask the students to give themselves an evaluation. Step6. Homework 1. Copy the key words and phrases three times. 2. Write a short passage about how you work hard.
