Unit 3 What Will You Do this summer Lesson 13 Summer Is Coming 教学目标: 【知识目标】 1、学会本课中的四会单词: fan;三会词汇:happen, leaves, lose, cloud 2、会描述每一个季节树的不同特征,并说出自己在不同的季节喜欢做什么活动。 3、理解并会朗读短文。 【能力目标】发展学生综合运用语言的能力,培养学生自主探究的能力及与同学的分工合作的能力。培养学生善于运用所学表达对自然界所见所闻的能力。 【情感目标】激发学生学习热情与参与欲望,能够大胆开口,主动模仿,调动学习积极性。激发学生对四季的喜爱之情,培养学生关注周围于环境的意识,使学生乐于享受生活中美好的事物。 重点难点: 【教学重点】重点单词和句型的理解和掌握。运用本课句型描述自然和自己喜爱的夏季活动,在生活情境中灵活运用并进行表达。 【教学难点】创设语言情境,运用重点单词和句型。能运用本课所学,能对四季的天气、景色和乐趣进行描述。 教学准备: Tape recorder, Multimedia 教学过程: Step1. Warm-up T: Can you tell me how many seasons are there in a year? Ss: There are four seasons in a year. T: What are they? Ss: They are spring, summer, autumn and winter. T: Which season is it? Which season do you like? Ss: ... T: What happens to trees in different seasons? Ss: ... Step 2. Presentation Talk about the pictures on Page38, judge which is the season. Use the pictures of trees in the four seasons to describe the trees. T: Can you describe the trees in different seasons? S1: In winter, it’ s cold and snowy. Many trees don’t have any leaves. S2:… 2. Summer fun T: Now I feel a little hot. Do you feel hot? The weather is hotter and hotter .Summer is coming. Do you like summer? S1: No, I don’ t like summer. Because it is hot in summer. T: Me? too! I also don' t like the hot weather. But we have the fun. It's cool. S2: I like summer. Because I can eat ice-cream/swim... T: Yes, these are summer fun.
