Warming up and make preparation for the structure we will use. Teaching Pre-task Review the colour words———black, blue , brown, green, orange, red, white, yellow. Show ppt of the colour words and let the Ss name them and read twice. Review the colours. While-task 1. Learn the new words. T: Let’s look at this picture. What is it? T: It is a classroom. “bin” T: What is it? It is a bin. T: Look at the bin. It is brown. Ss follow T. “book” T: What is it? It is a book. Phonics: pronounce look, then practice book. Instruction game. Students do as T says, “Get your book, open your book, close your book and no books.” T: Look at the book. It is yellow. Ss follow T. “desk” T asks Ss to close their eyes, and taps the desk and asks what it is. T: What is it? It is a desk. Follow and record and read. Then taps the desk and asks Ss to say the word. T: Look at the desk. It is green. Ss follow T. “chair” T: What is it? It is a chair. T asks Ss to repeat the word after the record. T: Finger, finger, point to your chair. T checks the word group by groups. T: Look at the chair. It is blue. Ss follow T. 2. Check the new words. Flashcards and asks Ss to guess. T play the “which one is missing” game. T shows a picture on the PPT. And shows Ss the passages. This is our classroom. Look at the bin. It is brown. Look at the book. It is yellow. Look at the desk. It is green. Look at the chair. It is blue. 4. Group work Each group will get a picture, and they will have 2-3mins to discuss. Structure on the PPT for their reference. 5. Presentation T: Time is up. Who can try? T: Very good! 1. T show the PPT and teach the Ss new words. Ss look at the picture and listen and follow the tape for 5 times. Then T shows the word on the PPT and listen to the record and follow the record. Then students read the words themselves according to the pictures and words. T plays the flashcard and asks Ss to name them. Then let Ss guess. T will show some pictures on the PPT.
