They started in Greece.Women couldn’t take part in the games.Married women couldn’t even watch the games! 3.知道重点句式: Did anyone find out when the Olympics began?They held the event every four years in Olympia.The ancient Greeks would be amazed at how the Olympic Games have grown to become a world event!They also represent their countries at the highest level. 教学思路: 本课时的教学内容是冀教版八年级下册英语第六单元的第三课时,主要涉及古代奥运会的介绍。在授课之前先让学生通过网络调查明白古代奥运会的情况。课上可以通过让学生小组合作的形式进行相互交流;然后教师通过幻灯片、图片向学生展示古代奥运会的情况,并让学生用英语简单介绍出古代奥运会的场景,能够介绍自己喜欢的体育项目。 教学准备: 设计教学PPT,录音机,多媒体,图片和单词卡片。 教学过程: StepⅠ.Lead in Leading in 【情景1】 Show some pictures about sports.Let the students answer the following questions: T:Hello,boys and girls.Have you watched the Olympic Games? Ss:Yes./No. T:What did you watch? S1:The beginning ceremony. S2:All kinds of competitions. T:What else do you know about the Olympic Games? S3:It’s from Greece. S4:It has a long history. S5:It’s great and important. T:Why do you think it is important? Discuss the questions in groups.Ask the students to talk for three minutes.Then let them present their talk in class.
