    中小学教育资源及组卷应用平台 Module 5 Shopping Unit 1 What can I do for you? 一、教材分析 本模块以”购物”为话题,分设三个课时进行学习。本课时是第一单元,属于听说课型,以为妈妈挑选母亲节礼物导入购物话题,呈现了在不同场合下有关购物的一些交际用语。学生通过对话的学习,学会用“How many…?”“How much…?”可数名词和不可数名词的数量进行提问;学会能够在真实语境中用“What colour…?”“What size…?” “How much…?”对物体颜色、尺码、价格进行询问;学会灵活使用购物用语,达到能用英语进行购物交谈,培养交际能力的目的。作为模块的第一课,它为第二、三单元不仅提供了话题和语境,同时也为学生们后来的学习扫清语言和文化的障碍。2 二、教学目标 1.语言知识目标 学习与购物相关的词汇及句型:market, supermarket, biscuit, lemon, strawberry, size, take, try on, sale, price, look, fresh, What colour…?”“What size…?” “How much…?” 2.技能目标 (1) 能听懂并读懂与购物相关的对话,并能复述对话。 (2) 能利用所学语言形式表达并表演与购物相关的话题。 3.情感与态度目标 (1)在教学过程中,学生们通过实践、参与有意义的各种形式的活动,体验与他人合作,共同完成学习任务的乐趣。 (2)在本课中,通过学习,使学生对英语国家购物方式和购物用语有更深入的体验,激发学生的兴趣,开阔学生的视野。 (3)通过为母亲节挑选礼物的话题,让学生感恩母亲。 三、教学重点和难点 学会用“How many…”“How much…”“What colour…”“What size…”等购物用语进行真实的交流。 四、教学过程: Step 1 Lead-in T:Mother’s Day is coming, I want to buy a gift for my mother, can you give me some advise? Let’s go shopping together. (show the students some pictures to learn the new words) T: Where can we buy things? (clothes shop, market, supermarket) What can we buy in market(clothes shop...)? (引入部分,以母亲节为妈妈选礼物为话题,给学生搭建情景支架,引入新词以及相关的句型,让学生反复操练购物的句型,达到听说熟练的效果,扫清接下来听力练习中的障碍,学生完成效果较好,因为有了情境支架,学生能够很快进入情境,较快较好地熟悉了本单元所需的单词和句型) Step 2 Listening Listen and answer the questions. (Activity 2) . What is Lingling going to buy for her mother on Mother’s Day? . What is Betty going to make for her mother? . What does Betty want to buy? . When are they going to the shops? (play the recording twice, ask the students to listen for the key words and make notes.) Listen and answer show the students 2 pictures and ask them some questions, let them predict what they are going to listen.(通过图片预测听力有助于学生完成听力练习) Where are they? What do you think Lingling is going to buy for her mother? How much is it? Where are they? What are they going to buy? How much are they? Listen and check the answers you guess. Listen and complete the table.(Activity 3) Tell the students when they listen, they don’t have to understand every word, try to listen for the key words.
