What countries do they stand for? Work out the other country as well. show students the table from page 16 with blanks.Teach them the nationality and people from different countries. Show the numbers and read. Tell students countries with plural form and with no plural form Show students several pictures. In each picture, there are some numbers of five to six digits. When the picture is taken away, have students tell the correct number. Free talk and learn the name of the country: China, Japan, India, Canada, America, France, Australia, and England. Read the table and complete it. Read the table for several times. Read the numbers. Look at the numbers and speak out. To stimulate students know about different countries To let the students practice speaking. To help students remember the plural form of the country. To help students read the numbers. While-task preparation 1.Play the recording once. Have students listen carefully and then do “T” or “F” 2. Play the recording again. Have students listen and repeat sentence by sentence. 3. Ask some questions to check understanding. 4. Show the table about people in Garden City. Use the table to do the pair work. Students listen and look at sentences then finish T/F exercises.
