Section A(1a—1c) 课型:New 任课教师:李娉 教学目标 1、Knowledge aims: 1) Master these new words: do, have, tennis ball, ping-pong, bat, soccer, soccer ball, basketball, volleyball. 2) Have abilities to use “have” to talk about ownership. —Do you have a baseball? —Yes, I do. /No, I don't. 2、Ability aims: 1) Have abilities of working in pairs. 2) Improve students’ listening and speaking skills. 3、Moral aims: Help students to be more confident in English study. Make students realize the importance of sports. 二、教学重点 1) New words of sport items. 2) Usage of “have” to talk about ownership. 三、教学难点 1) Help students to have a better understanding of present tense to have. 2) Help students to have more understandings of Yes/No questions and short answers. 四、教学方法 Task-based teaching methods and audio-visual teaching methods. 五、教具 PPT, blackboard. 六、教学步骤 Step 1 Greetings Step 2 Presentation 1、New words Show students a short video of sports events to let them have a sense of balls. (The video can arouse the students’ interests.) After that, let students say the names of the balls they have seen from the video. And show the pictures of balls and learn about the new words. Then, practice these new words with different exercises. (用“英-中翻译、看图说单词、Let’s chant”三个环节来突破) 2、Work on 1a and ask one student to show the answers and check them. 3、Key structures. Show students a video to let them know how to ask and answer about ownership. Ask students with the sentence “Do you have a/an ….?” and help students to answer with “Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.” Then ask students to practice the drills with some exercises. (小组对话练习) Step 3 Consolidation Review what we have learnt in this class. There are three tasks. Ask students to choose a number. Each number stands for a task. Task 1: Finish 1b to practice students’ listening skill. Task 2: Look and say. Show students the pronunciations and pictures of these new words, and ask them to say the words correctly. Task 3: Play a Do and Guess game in groups. Four people are in a group. The first student sees a picture of sports, then, he/she acts it out. The second and the third students still act it out. The last student should ask the first student, “Do you have a/an ….?” If the answer is “Yes, I do.”, they will win the game. If the answer is “No, I don’t.”, they will not win the game. Step 4 Mini-Lesson (微课展示) Show a short video made by the teacher to let them know the importance of sports.(情感输入) Step 5 Homework Make a survey: Ask your classmates (at least three) what kinds of balls they have by using the sentence patterns “Do you have…?Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.” and write a report. 七、Blackboard design.( 板书设计) ( U nit 5 Do you have a soccer ball? -- D o you have a bas ... ...
