    Into the Amazon Rainforest 教案 教学目标 1. 学生能在老师的帮助下读懂绘本内容,了解亚马逊雨林中的几种动物名称。 2. 学生能对自己喜欢的一种动物进行简单介绍。 3. 学生能用自己的话说一说自己读完绘本后的所学所得。 教学重点 1. 学生能说出7种动物的名称。 2. 学生说出自己喜欢的动物的特别之处。 教学难点 1. 7种动物的名称的读音。 2. howl, poisonous, feed, hunt等词义的理解。 3. 学生试用自己的语言表达读完绘本后的所学所得。 学情分析 六年级下学期的学生具有小学阶段几乎最丰富的语言知识和生活经历,能够用英语描述动物的外观和能力,也具备一定的语言理解能力和阅读技巧,在老师的帮助下能够处理有一定词汇量的课外文章。不过,许多学生对亚马逊雨林这一话题并不熟悉,相关的生物学知识也不具备,需要老师首先引入情境,激发兴趣,才能更好地学习这本绘本。 教学准备 视频,贴图,课件 教学步骤 1. 读图,观看视频,导入话题。 展示世界地形图,了解一些地貌,desert, mountain, sea, rainforest T: What’s the rainforest like? S: It’s hot. It’s rainy. 看视频. T: Do you know what this place is? It is the Amazon Rainforest. T: What do you know about it? 呈现标题Into the Amazon Rainforest.带读. 2. 齐读p. 4-5. 列出一些关键词汇在黑板上. It is _____. (big, exciting, beautiful, full of life, etc.) 3. 学生skim p. 6-13,找出动物. T: Now can you please read from page 6 to 13, and try to find out the animals in the rainforest? 给学生1分半左右自读,PPT出现8种动物,动物有序号,让学生用序号回答,然后教读动物名称,并贴在黑板上. 4. 老师带学生学howler monkey,教学生按读,找特别之处,总结关键词,表演的顺序来理解课文. 拿howler monkey图片. T: What can a howler money do? S: It can howl. T: Right. T: And why does it howl? Can you find out? S: Because they howl to tell other howler monkeys, “Stay away from my food!” 总结关键词howl, protect food T: Can you show us how they howl? 邀请2位同学上台表演howl的情形,帮助大家体会. 5. 学生小组自学toucan, macaw, anteater, harpy eagle.学生按照刚才的步骤小组学习,然后让学生上台介绍这个动物特别的部分. T: Now you can work in groups and learn about the other animals. When you can understand the passage, try to tell us what you find special about it. 上台后应先由一名同学介绍独特之处,一位同学贴关键词,另两位可以试着表演出来,帮助其他同学理解. 学生准备好后,每个动物各选一组展示,老师补充. 6.
