It’s famous for temples.等。 使学生能够运用本课句型进行全国各地名胜的口语交流。 使学生理解第4和第11页短文，并能根据短文内容完成相应任务。 进一步理解一般过去时态的用法。 教学重点 使学生能够运用本课句型进行全国各地名胜的口语交流。 教学难点 带有系动词句子的一般过去时态，过去时态与现在时态的分别应用，课文 Good to know 的理解。 教学方法 多媒体教学法、任务型教学法 课前准备 1．教学录音磁带。 2．各地名胜图片。 3．教学课件。 课时安排 1课时 教学过程 Warming-up 通过各地名胜图片来复习第一课时的词语：morning tea, soup, garden, the Potala Palace, the Summer Palace, the Terracotta Army, vacation, taste等。 师生口语交流： T：Where did you go on your summer vacation? S：I went to... T： What did you do there? S：We... 教师可多提问几个同学，通过提问，复习上课的句型。 Presentation 师： 打开课本第4页, Look at the pictures. What do you see in the pictures? 请同学就这个问题进行回答。 听录音，学生跟读句子。 大屏幕展示中国地图，方向标显示出来。 教师讲解重点句型： Look, this is a map of China. N：north. S：south. E：east. W：west. 屏幕展示方向标，教师手指方向标，领读同学们，让同学们理解单词的含义。 词组：in the west of China.在中国的东部。 in the south of China.在中国的南部。 How was your summer vacation?你的暑假怎么样呢？这是带有系动词的过去式。 am,is的过去式是was. are的过去式是were. 例句：She is at school.--She was at school. We are in Grade 6--We were in Grade 6. What’s Xining famous for?西宁以什么著名？ be famous for+名词或动词ing.以...而出名。temple.寺庙。 How did you go there? We went there by plane你们怎么去的？我们乘飞机去的。 But you can also go by train. It’s cheaper.但是你也可以乘火车去，它还便宜些。 仔细观察整篇对话，哪些采用的一般过去时态，哪些采用的一般现在时态？同学回答。老师总结：已经发生过的动作或状态用一般过去时态，一直存在的，客观存在的，就采用一般现在时态。请同学们分别读一般过去时态和一般现在时态的句子，感觉它们的用法区别。 5．再次播放对话录音，学生跟读。 Practice 学生自读对话短文，小组内可相互帮助。 大屏幕播放中国其它名胜，Harbin skiing, Hangzhou West Lake, Sanya Beach等。同桌二人为一组进行口语交流活动。用到句型：Where is...? It’s in the...of China. What’s ...famous for? It’s famous for...屏幕每播放一个，同桌就相互提问回答一次。教师使用“学乐师生”APP录音，然后分享给全体同学。 根据刚才对话内容，完成5页任务，选择一座城市，写几句话对它进行描述。小组内交流写作成果。 Presentation 学习9页Part A教师讲解： China is in East Asia.
