(2)Divide the Ss into four groups to present the dialogue. Step 1:Greeting and Introduction Begin by greeting the class with a smile and good morning! T: Good afternoon, students. S: Good afternoon, teacher. Step 2: Practice 1) S1: I like reading. What about you? S2: I like skateboarding. 2) S3: I like playing cards. What about you? S4: I like go skiing. 3) T: I like go hiking. How about you? S: I like go hiking, too. ... Step3:Play a game. Each two students in a group to practice the dialogues: 1) S1: I like running. Greeting and introduction Step2. Sing a song: Ten Little Indian Boys Step3. Leading-in Ask students “Do you like singing? I like singing. So my hobby is singing. I have many hobbies, such as dancing and so on, but I want to know what your hobbies are. (导出新课,板书课题,并教授新单词hobby。) Step4. Presentation Show some pictures or objects, ask and answer. T: Look at these pictures, what’re these? Ss: They are toys. T: Yes, do you like toys? I like collecting toys. My hobby is collecting toys.
