Unit 4 Then and now 第一课时 Part A Let’s try Let’s talk 教学目标 1.学生能够听、说、认读词汇star，easy，look up，Internet。 2.学生能够听、说、读、写句子There was no library in my old school.Tell us about your school，please.How do you know that？There were no computers or Internet in my time.并能在实际情景中熟练运用。 3.学生能够独立完成“Let’s try”部分的练习。 教学重难点 1.能够听、说、认读词汇star，easy，look up，Internet。 2.能够运用所学的句型进行简单的会话。 教学准备 教学光盘，图片，卡片 教学过程 Step 1：Warm-up 教师出示图片，引导学生复习有关学校设施的单词。如：library，music room，teachers’ office... Step 2：Presentation 1.完成“Let’s try”部分的任务。教师向学生介绍：Today，there is a guest visiting the school.待学生理解听力背景后，教师引导学生浏览听力题目。然后，教师播放听力录音，学生听录音完成练习题。教师再次播放录音，师生共同核对答案，教师可引导学生复述录音原文。 2.完成“Let’s talk”部分的任务。教师出示两张图片，一张是几年前学校没有图书馆的图片，一张是现在学校建了图书馆的图片，教师引导学生找出两张图片的区别。当学生发现图书馆的区别时，教师对学生说：There was no library in my old school.教师板书并教读句子There was no library in my old school.学生跟读。 教师出示恐龙的图片，对学生说：Do you still remember these pictures？学生回答：Yes.教师接着说：Can you tell me something about the dinosaur？待学生自由回答后，教师接着说：How do you know that？教师板书并教读句子：How do you know that？学生跟读。教师帮助学生操练该句子。接着教师说：The Americans took about five days to get to the moon in 1969.教师引导学生提问：How do you know that？教师回答：I looked it up on the Internet.教师教读句子I looked it up on the Internet.学生跟读。教师板书并教读短语look up，然后出示网络相关的图片，教读look up on the Internet，学生跟读。接着，教师说：There were no computers or Internet in my time.教师板书并教读句子，学生跟读。 教师播放“Let’s talk”部分的录音，学生静听，大致了解对话内容。教师引导学生浏览对话下面的问题：What was Grandpa’s school like？然后让学生在此阅读对话，待学生找到关键信息并完成问题后，师生共同核对答案。教师可就对话中难理解的部分做适当的讲解。教师再次播放录音，学生跟读。 Step 3：Consolidation and extension 教师向学生提问：What was your school like five years ago？What is it like now？Draw and talk.教师先引导学生画一画自己印象中五年前的学校和现在的学校分别是什么样的。学生画完后，教师利用There was/were...There is/are...句型向学生描述自己眼中的学校。然后学生私人一组进行交流。最后，教师抽查。 Step 4：Summary 本课时学习了新词汇star，easy，look up，Internet和句子There was no library in my old school.Tell us about your school，please.How do you know that？There were no computers or Internet in my time.
