It’s a… Procedure Steps Activities Purposes Warm up： Review the chant (two times) Review five words: dog, cat, monkey, tiger, bird (T show Ss the picture and ask them to choose the right word and say “I see… looking at me.) 复习巩固第一课时的五个单词：cat, dog, monkey, tiger, bird以及歌谣 Presentation： T: you did a good job. Now we are going to the zoo to see more animals. (show the picture of zoo) Show Ss the pictures of fox, frog, chicken, rat, dolphin and rabbit one by one. 引出拓展性词汇： frog, rat, chicken, rabbit, fox, dolphin Learning： T teaches the new extended words (fox, frog, chicken, rat, dolphin and rabbit) T: There are so many animals in the zoo. Bill and his daddy want to know the animals. Listen carefully, what are they talking about? Play the radio at least 3 times and invite Ss to repeat the dialogue.
