Lesson 21 【教学目标】 1.能用“How many …are there in…?”询问一年有几个季节,并用“There are…”做出回答。 2.能朗读和认读词汇season、spring、summer、autumn、winter、sky、blue、green、white、snow,并能在实际情景中运用。 3.能模仿录音说唱小韵文。 4.在谈论季节时,欣赏美丽的大自然。 【教学重难点】 1.教学重点 (1)能用“How many …are there in…?”询问一年有几个季节,并用“There are…”做出回答。 (2)能够理解、认读词汇season。 2.教学难点 (1) 问句“How many seasons are there in a year?”中的are there不能丢掉。 (2)There are与they are的发音。 【教学准备】 教学场景图、若干四季图片、单词卡片(season、spring、summer、autumn、winter)、PPT课件、人物头饰、对话录音、小韵文。 【教学过程】 导入 1.T: Today we are going to learn Unit 6 Which season do you like? First, let’s play a guess game, a word guess game. 教师出示两组春夏秋冬的图片,让学生来猜“季节”这个单词。因为是season是本节课所要学习的新单词,因此教师应把重点放在学生对这一抽象单词的理解上,可以启发学生用汉语说出“季节”这一单词。 2.如果两组图片过后,学生还是不能理解season的含义,PPT播放Lesson 23小韵文Spring is bright, with flower and song. Summer is hot, and the days are long. Autumn is rich, with fruits and grain. Winter brings snow, and a new year again. T: What do you hear in this chant? Do you hear spring/summer/autumn/winter? S: Yes. T: Spring/summer/autumn/winter is a season, so there are four seasons in a year, yes? S: Yes. 通过PPT重复呈现两组春夏秋冬的图片,并在4张图片的中间标出“season”一词。 T: How many seasons are there in a year, boys and girls? S: Four (在此环节,学生肯定会简单回答four,教师要引导学生将句子补充完整There are four,并纠正学生th和There are的发音) . 设计意图:通过展示四季图片,观看韵文的形式,让学生直观理解season的含义,理解和掌握本单元的核心词汇。 新授 1.Listen and say (1)PPT出示第一幅主题图,引导学生仔细观察图片,并提出问题: ①What can you see in the picture? (I see Lala/ Kate/a sheep….) ②How many sheep are there? (There are five.) ③Can you guess what’s Lala saying? 以师生问答的形式,来引导学生了解对话背景,猜测对话内容。如果学生对第③个问题的猜测是正确的,播放录音核对答案;如果学生猜不出Lala会说些什么,播放录音后再让学生回答这个问题。 (2)听录音,理解对话。 听第一遍对话,回答: ①What’s Lala saying? (How many seasons are there in a year? 学生回答后,播放录音,请学生跟读模仿) ②How many seasons are there in a year? (There are four.) 板书:How many seasons are there in a year? There are four. 听第二遍对话(listen, watch and repeat),回答: There are four seasons in a year, what are they? (They are spring, summer, autumn, and winter.) PPT出示小羊手中的4幅图片,请学生认读spring, summer, autumn, winter四个单词;然后将season, spring, summer, autumn, winter五个单词贴在黑板上,随机指读。 (3)听录音跟读模仿,重点跟读There are four,They are spring, summer, autumn, and winter,区分There are与they are的发音。 (4)练习对话,由教师、男生、女生分角色表演对话。 (5)拓展练习。 T: There are four seasons in a year, they are spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
