Lesson 43: A visit to Chinatown 教学思路:本课是九年级冀教版第8单元第一课,以“参观中国城”为题,首先通过Brain,Jenny和LiMing 的对话引出话题,讨论中国城的食物,购物街,接着以李明对春节的介绍来结束文章。首先让学生听一首英文歌曲,渗透本单元的主题:文化影响着我们。也给学生创设一个轻松愉悦的学习氛围。然后进入课题:展示中国城的图片,进一步吸引学生。培养学生的学习兴趣。本课的重点是常用交际用语。学习中国的春节和西方的圣诞节的差异。并且渗透了大量实用的短语,句型。还涉及到了状语从句。我主要想通过听说读写等方式让学生尽可能的记住这些知识点。使他们的英语技能能有较大的提高。并不断提高他们的学习积极性。 教学目标: 知识目标: 掌握下列词汇的拼写及中文意思:Chinatown , decoration ,bowl , chopstick , wonderful , performance , spoon , fork , underground , lantern , dragon , temple , prepare for 掌握下列句型: What do you usually do to prepare for the Spring Festival? My parents love to have lunch and shop there, although parking is a problem. I used chopsticks and a spoon instead of a fork and a knife, Do you Believe it’s Santa Clause who brings you gifts,Brain? We do have lots of fun. We have temple fairs and all kinds of performances. T:What’s a Chinatown? Is it a town in China? Where is it ? What is it like? (学生观看图片,体味中国城。) 设计意图:通过英文歌曲和中国城的图片,让学生迅速进入文章的情境,引起学生好奇心,激发学习兴趣,让他们对中西文化和风俗差异有一个初步的印象。 Step2:Picture shows: 1.
