Unit 4 Look into Science Lesson 26 Keep the candle burning 教学设计 一． 教材分析 本单元以look into science 为话题。要求学生通过学习本单元，掌握描述科学实验的一些表达方式、词汇和短语。在此基础上能够动手做实验，谈论实验步骤。同时，通过学习这个单元，培养同学们严谨的思路和良好的科学探索精神。本课重点通过实验来进一步巩固重要句型及单词的用法，培养学生热爱科学的意识和动手做实验的兴趣。 二．学情分析 本课是实验课，接近生活，应以动手操作为主，能最大限度的调动学生的积极性，参与学习。 三．教学设计思路 这个实验是我们学做的第一个实验。首先，通过谈话导入本课；然后，通过图片学习生词；接着，教师演示实验过程，用英语描述实验步骤，再分组做实验，让学生仔细观察：瓶子里的水为什么会上升？上升了多少？ 四．教学目标 1. Teaching important points: 掌握实验操作过程，用英语描述实验步骤。 2. Teaching difficult point: 得到结论 As the candle burns, it uses up oxygen in the air. So the water rises and fills about one-fifth of the jar. 教学方法： 本课采用教师做实验让学生观察，并让学生合上书本复述实验步骤的方法，采用提问、启发、讨论和归纳的教法，让学生容易接受教材知识，理解文章内容，培养学生的语言综合运用能力。 学生学法：听课文 复述课文 讨论 总结 教具准备：多媒体设备，录音机，磁带。 教学过程： Step1: Greet the whole class as usual.
