Greetings. 2. Enjoy the song—How much is that doggie in the window? T： （出示课件） Sarah hopes the doggie is for sale. I hope it's on sale. Then it will be very cheap. Today some things in a shop are on sale. Can you guess what's on sale? 3. Let's review. Students guess and say the words. The teacher writes down the words on the blackboard. Then help students stick the pictures beside the words. Students look and read them aloud. Write down the topic “Shopping” on the blackboard. Step 2: While-reading 1. Look at the picture. T： Now let's see what's on sale. （课件出示：Read and answer图片） Help students understand the word “sale”. Ask some questions to lead students to look at the picture. ① What are they? ② What colours are they? ③ How much are they? Are they cheap/expensive? 2. Read and circle. Students read the ad and circle the things on sale. T： What\'s on sale? Ss： Sunglasses, gloves, scarves, umbrellas. （课件出示：Read and answer的广告文本） 3. Read and answer. Students read the ad again by themselves and then try to fill in the blanks. 4.Check the answers. T： How much is the red scarf? Ss： It's 5 yuan. T： How much are the other scarves? Ss： They're all 5 yuan. T： Good! They're very nice. What colour are the other scarves? Ss: They are yellow, brown and more. Help students understand the word “more”. 5.Fill in the chart. Show a chart on the PPT. Students try to fill in the chart. （课件出示：相应的表格内容） T： The umbrellas are on sale. The sunglasses are on sale. The gloves are on sale. The scarves are on sale.
