Ask students to read the new words and expressions in this unit. 2. Talk about the pictures. Ask students to say something about the pictures in English. T: Do you think Australia is a magical and beautiful country? Now, let’s take a short tour around Australia. Step 2 Warming up 1. Look at the pictures and describe them. (1)Ask students to work in pairs and brainstorm the vocabulary they could use to describe the pictures. (2)Ask students to work in groups. Describe each picture. 2. Now guess what Tony is going to say in his letter. (1)Ask students to discuss what they think Tony is going to say in his letter. (2)Elicit ideas and write them on the board. Step 3 Fast reading 1.
