Welcome to English Class . First，let’s sing a song together. （大家好，欢迎大家来上英语课。首先，让我们一起唱个儿歌吧。） PPT出示第7课学的歌谣，和学生一起吟唱。 Lead in Okay，class. Today ,we will read a story . And we will meet two new friends —John and Jack .What will they do?Do you know ? Let's find out !(好的，同学们，今天我们将要读一篇故事。我们还要认识两位新朋友—约翰和捷克。他们要做什么呢？你知道吗？让我们来找到答案。) Step2：presentation 1、Prepare to read 学生打开课本28页。先不着急读故事，认真看一下每幅图，了解故事的梗概，同桌间可以讨论。然后回答下列问题： ·Where is the boy? ·What is the boy doing? ·What can you see in these pictures? 2、Read the Story 将故事从头到尾过一遍，帮助学生理解故事情节。 图一，让学生自己阅读，问辅助问题：What is the boy's name ? What is the dog’s name? What are they doing? 图二，John 上完了厕所，又做了什么呢？辅助问题:What is John doing? When does John brush his teeth?What is Jack doing? （3）图三，接着往下看，John 洗漱完后该干什么了？辅助问题：What can you see in the picture?（学习单词chopstick） （4）图四，John放学了，咱们看看他们去干什么了。辅助问题：What do they do in the afternoon？ What is John wearing？（复习上单元句型） （5）图五，他们俩玩的真高兴呀，他们在玩什么呢？辅助问题：What can you see in the picture? （复习单词ball） What day is today?（借机复习星期词汇） （6）图六，球丢了，谁去找球了，找到了吗？辅助问题：Where is Jack?（In the grass） （7）图七，Jack 找到球，为什么不回来？辅助问题：What do you see in the grass? （8）图八，他们发现了受伤的小鸟后做了什么？辅助问题：What do they do ？ 串完故事后，开始朗读。教师先慢速把整个故事给同学们读一遍，然后播放录音，让学生跟读，重点词句可反复听。最后再播放一次录音，让学生跟着大声朗读。 After Reading 把学生分成8组，每组练习表演8张图片中的一张。给学生时间练习，期间教师走动，帮助有困难的同学。准备好后，让每组在全班面前表演。 Step3：Consolidation and Homework 告诉学生老师喜欢他们的表演。家庭作业是试着用英语把故事读给家长听。 板书设计 Lesson 12 John and Jack What do they see in the grass ?
