Have fun together! 【教学难点】 学生能够理解并会使用动词bring sb. sth.或bring sth. to/for sb. give sb. sth 课前准备 课件。 教学过程 Step 1. 话题导入 T: Hello, boys and girls! Ss: Hi, teacher. T: How are you? Ss: Good. And you? T: I’m fine. Thanks! T: Boys and girls, we have learned some holidays before. What holiday is it?(儿童节的图片) Ss: Children’s Day. T: Good. How about this one? Ss: … The teacher use PPT to lead students to review the festival “Children’s Day,New Year’s Day,Teachers’ Day, National Day, Spring Festival” , which we have learnt before. Broadcast PPT7 T: In Western countries, there is a special holiday. What is it?(出示圣诞节图片) Ss:圣诞节。 T: Yes, it’s Christmas. Today we will learn “Christmas is coming”. (板书) Lead students to say that the first letter of a sentence should be capital form and “t” is not to pronounce and so on. T: Do you know something about Christmas? Ss: Let students say something about Christmas freely. T:Now let us see western festivals together. Step 2. Presentation 1. PPT8-20learn the first part of the lesson. Broadcast PPT8-9,show the first part of the lesson. teacher lead to read the text for several times until students can read it fluently. Teacher asks students: What is Christmas? Will people go to work? Will children go to school? What do people have at Christmas? What do people have at Christmas? (design thinking: this part is aiming at improve the ability of students’ reading and strengthen their understanding and grasping of the text.) Broadcast PPT10-20 explain the knowledge points in turn and divide the whole sentence structure into several parts. Link to example sentences and examples to promote the grasp new knowledge points. Step 3. Let’s do it! Broadcast PPT21,complete the exercises in the second part. Give students enough time to complete questions by themselves. Teacher check answers with students together and encourage students to point out the mistakes for wrong sentences. (Design thinking: when they are working for items, lead students try to analyze how to solve problem, which will be good for solidify students fundamental knowledge.) Step 4. Pairwork Broadcast PPT21,complete the game “点兵点将”. The whole class.
