Lesson 16: Happy or Sad 教案 一、教学目标 1. Language goals: hurt, enough, laugh ,donut… 2. Ability goals: To be able to express the feelings. 3. Moral goals: Let students express their feeling 二、教学重难点 1. 教学重点 1) Be able to understand one’s own feelings and others’ . 2) In simple English, describe one’s own feelings and others’. 2. 教学难点 How to describe oneself and other people’ feelings. 三、教学方法 Speaking , Talking , Practice 四、教具 PPT 教学过程 Step1 Revision(Go over Lesson15) Review “How tall……?” T: How tall are you? S1:I`m ____ metres tall. T: How tall is he/she? S2: He/She is ___metres tall.(Ask several students to answer) Then the teacher sums up “How tall +be+主语?回答:主语+be+___metre(s) tall.” Step 2 Lead in Let the students listen to a rhythmic passage then ask them what the meaning of We`re down/We`re high is?( T:In English, you can use down and high to describe feelings. To feel down means to feel sad. To feel high means to feel happy.) T: Besides happy or sad , we still have other feelings.Then show some pictures and ask the students questions for their feelings now. T: How do you feel? Ss: I feel/ I抦_____. Then lead in the new lesson-Happy or Sad Step 3 New words 通过句子,介绍生词hurt/ enough/ laugh/donut 的用法。 Step 4 Listening and Reading Now let’s listen to the tape and read after it. Then answer the questions. 1) How does Jenny feel? 2) Is Danny hurt? 3) Is Danny tired? 4) How many donuts does Danny’s mother want him to eat? 5) Is Danny’s mother right? Step5 Teach the main language points 1. How do you feel? 主要用来询问对方的感觉如何。 I feel/am happy/sad/hurt/tired/angry . How does she/he feel ? She /he feels/is happy/sad/hurt/tired. Do you feel happy? Yes, I do./ No, I don't. Are you happy? Yes, I am./ No, I'm not. 2.What's wrong? 怎么啦? 同义句是“What's the matter?/What's the trouble?”后面接宾语时,须用介词with. 如:①. --What's wrong with you? --I have a headache. ②. --What's the matter with the clock? --It dosen't work. 3.enough的用法 ①做形容词,意为“足够的,充足的”用来修饰名词,一般放在名词之前。 ②做副词,意为“足够地,充足地”用来修饰形容词或副词,一般放在被修饰词之前。 Step 6 Work in pairs Show some pictures and let the students read the dialogues in pairs. Step 7 Practice Listen to the tape and read after it. Then let some students read in roles. 2. Listen to the conversations and number the pictures.(Finish off Exercise2) 3.
