Speak out the opposite words. 3. Make a sentence according to the form. Step2 Presentation(25 minutes) Let’s wrap it up. 1.Show the word cards and speak out the comparative words 2.Observe the comparative words and find out the rules Read the rules together. 3.Finish “Read and write” Check the answers. Main scene 1. Miss White and the students are in a park. Please watch the cartoon and number the sentences. 2. Check the answer. What’s the meaning of “ton”? Can you think of other words like “ton” Let’s check. 1. Look at the pictures quickly. 2.Listen to the tape and finish “listen and tick” 3.Listen again and write the answers to the questions Story time 1. Lead in: T: (Show a picture of football) Look at this picture. What’s this? Ss: It’s a football. T: (Show a picture of goalkeeper) Look at the man in the picture. He’s a goalkeeper. A goalkeeper is important in a team. 2. Watch the cartoon and circle the new words. Translate the new words and new sentences: centimeter ,catch,other,reach,happen,need,guy,almost.Football needs teamwork.
