T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, teacher. T: How are you today? Ss: Very well, thank you. And how are you? T: I’m fine, too. Thank you! 2.Revision. Students wear the headwears, then introduce themselves by using the sentence structures “Hi, I’m… I’m from…”. 3.Lead-in. T: Before the class, let’s make a competition between boys and girls, OK? Ss: OK! Step 2: Presentation 1.Show a big map. (出示课件) T: Look at this. This is a world map. What countries do you know? Ss: China. T: Very good. You know we are all from China. We love China. Do you want to know something about China? Ss: Yes. T: OK. Let’s look at the screen. 2.Show some pictures about China. Show some pictures of the Great Wall, the Palace Museum, Tian’anmen Square, the Bird’s Nest and the flag of China. (出示课件) T: We know they all belong to China. The teacher teaches “China” by the word card. (Write down “China” on the blackboard. Write “C” in red chalk.) Show a picture of Zhou Jielun. (出示课件) Lead students to make an introduction by using “Hi, I’m Zhou Jielun. I’m from China.”. 3.Show some pictures about the UK. Show some pictures of Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, London Eye, Hyde Park and the flag of the UK. (出示课件) The teacher teaches “the UK” by the word card. I’m from the UK.”. 4.Share a video about the USA. Share a video about the USA: Golden Gate Bridge, Obama, Kobe, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck… Then show the flag of the USA.
