课题 Unit 1. Our school. 共6 课时 教学目标 1. Simply describe school things: This is the teacher’s office. That is my school.2. Sentence patterns: Is this the …. Yes, it is. Is that the….. No, it isn’t.3. Learn the question: Where is the ….. It’s on the first/ second floor. 教学重点教学难点 Learn to write the sentences and to answer the questions correctly. 教学准备 Tape recorder, stickers, word cards. Period 1 1. Warm-up: Ask and answer “What’s in our classroom ” “A board, two lights, many desks and chairs…” 2. Presentation: (1) Ask “What’s in our school ” Encourage the students to answer in English or in Chinese. Present the new words: teacher’s office, canteen, playground, library, garden. Ask Where is the library Help the students to answer: It’s on the first floor. (2) Read the words together. (3) Let’s do. Listen and repeat. Then do actions. 3. Consolidation and extension: (1) Play and guess. Draw a house on the board. Get the students to guess the right positions. (2) Talk about the positions with “Where”. Period 21. Warm-up: (1) Revise Let’s do. (2) Read the words on the cards. ( Here Teacher can say “the first card…, the second card…”)2. Presentation: (1) Freely talk “ Do you like our school Why do you like our school ” (2) Yes, our school is really nice. Today some friends from America are coming to see our school. Chen Jie is showing them around our school. Let’s watch VCD. (3) Give some questions: How many American friends are there What do you do in the playground (4) Read the dialogue and try to act. (5) Let’s play.3. Consolidation and extension: (1) Read “Let’s talk”. (2) Copy the new words. Period 31. Warm-up: (1) Sing the song “Our school”. (2) Act the dialogue in “Let’s talk”.2. Presentation: (1) Chant B. Read the words: library--read, art room--draw, canteen--eat, gym--play. (2) Make questions: “ Where do you read/ draw/ eat/ play ” Students answer. Go on asking, “ Where do you play computer ” Help the students to answer: In the computer room. Show the Teacher Card and say: This is a computer room. (3) Write the sentence on the board and tell the students how to write sentences correctly. (4) Act out the dialogue. (5) Good to know. Read and think: Can we drink/eat in the computer room Can we talk loudly in the library 3. Consolidation and extension: (1).Write the four-skilled words and sentences. (2) Do exercises in Activity Book. Period 41. Warm-up: Sing “Our school”.2. Presentation: (1) Read “Let’s do”. Ask questions: Where do we water the flowers/ read story-books/ have computer classes Help the students to answer: In the garden/ In the library/ In the computer room. (2) Teach new words: gym, TV room, art room, computer room, washroom, music room. (3) Let’s play. Draw a teaching building on the board. Call a boy or a girl to the board.
