Read and write) 课时目标 1.能听、说、读、写本节课的四会单词:hotel,fixed,broken,lamp,loud enjoy, stay。 2.能读懂“Read and write”部分的短文,并能完成后面的练习。 3.培养学生的阅读技巧和阅读兴趣。 4.掌握一般过去时在实际情景中的应用。 重点难点 重点 1.读懂“Read and write”部分的短文,并能完成后面的练习。 2.培养学生的阅读技巧和阅读兴趣。 3.掌握一般过去时在实际情景中的应用。 难点 培养学生的阅读技巧和阅读兴趣。 教学准备 1.教师准备教学过程中所需的挂图和课件。 2.教师准备与教材相配套的教学录音带。 教学步骤 教学内容 一、课前热身(Warm-up) 1.打招呼。 2.师生一起唱歌曲“Last weekend”,可采用对唱的形式。 3.师生就歌曲“Last weekend”进行对话,如: T: What did you do yesterday? Ss:I went to the zoo. T:What did you see there? Ss:I… 二、课前准备(Preview) 游戏:并肩作战闯难关。 教师准备10张动词短语卡片,卡片上为动词原形。然后请20位学生排成两列面对面站好,相对的两名学生成为共闯“难关”的伙伴。教师出示一张卡片,第一位学生读出上面的短语,他(她)的伙伴如果能很快说出其过去时形式,两人即闯关成功。教师继续出示卡片,游戏按次序进行。两轮后,教师可以出示写有动词过去式的卡片,继续该游戏。 三、新课呈现(Presentation) Read and write. T: Do you know housekeepers?What can they do?Who can tell me?鼓励学生畅所欲言,帮助学生理解housekeeper。. 教师明确:A housekeeper is a person whose job is to cook, clean, and look after a house for its owner. T: As we know,Wu Yifan and his family went to the countryside for their holiday. Did they have a good time?We have no idea. So, Let’s read the following passage to know if they enjoyed their stay there. 首先,让学生自读课文,提取文章大意。 然后,教师提问:What kind of article is it? 引导学生回答:It’s a comment letter. T: Where did they stay? S1:They stayed at the Holiday hotel. T: What did Wu Yifan think of the hotel? S2:Very bad. T: Why? S3:Because everything in the hotel was very old.They had to clean their room and fix a broken chair by themselves. T: Right.Anything else? S4:The lamp was so small that Wu Yifan’s mother couldn’t read a book,and the food brought from the kitchen were cold and tasted bad. T: Yes, it was really bad.What else? S5:Wu Yifan wanted to watch TV.but it didn’t work.And the people in Room 301 made loud noise.So that they didn’t sleep well. T: Wow, it was really not a good time. Now.listen to the tape to follow the reading. 教师播放录音,学生模仿读,提醒学生注意发音和语调。 指名学生读,纠正不正确的发音。 四、巩固延伸(Consolidation&Extension) 1.出示课本第11页的三幅图,请学生先用自己的话说说图片上的内容,然后再从信中找出描述这三幅图的句子。 给学生三分钟时间完成,教师巡视。 完成后,指名学生汇报答案,全班一起核对。 Picture l:Our room was big but everything was very old.
