Children left all the litter behind and mom asked them to pick up the litter. Floppy got hurt by a broken glass. On the way home, they stopped for food and Chip threw the litter on the ground. At night, chip was taken to a magic adventure. In the adventure, litter queen asked him to spread litter everywhere, but chip didn’t want to. After the adventure, Chip did a litter project and won a competition for his story called “The Litter Queen”. 2. read the story dramatically ? Blackboard Design: 课堂教学基本步骤 1. 导入(Lead-in):观看视频,了解littering的意思,导入故事情景 通过播放视频The Litterbug(见课件),引导学生讨论littering的害处。 教师播放视频,与学生互动,让学生讨论乱扔垃圾带来的坏处: What harm does littering do to our life? What will you do if you see someone littering? 之后,自然过渡到讲故事环节: The children went for a picnic. Did they litter? Did they take their trash back? What adventure did the children have? Let’s learn the story The Litter Queen. 2. 看图讲故事(Storytelling):了解故事背景 教师利用课件选取播放故事前13幅图片,并用丰富的表情、生动的英文和适当的肢体语言给学生绘声绘色地讲故事,引导学生观察图片,了解故事背景。 (Picture 1) Mum and Dad took the children for a picnic in the country. They went to a place called White Horse Hill. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky. The weather was perfect. (Picture 2) They found a good place at the bottom of the hill. Dad spread out a rug and everyone sat down. Mum took out lots of delicious food. Everyone enjoyed the food and the view. They can see for miles. (Picture 3) After the picnic, the children wanted to race to the top of the hill. But Mum called them back. (Picture 4) “Look at all the litter you’ve left behind. Pick them up and put it in a bag.
