Unit5《There is a big bed》 Part A Let’s try & Let’s talk(1) 说课稿 一、说教材： 这是小学英语PEP五年级上册第五单元的一课，围绕房间及房间中的家具陈设这一主题，谈论陈设的名称、数量和位置等，如：There are two end tables near the closet. 要求能够运用句型：Is this your bedroom？Where’s the trash bin? 等询问，并能简单表达情感，如：It’s cool! 本单元的重点是学习家具陈设等物品的名称，表示位置的介词和There be句型的用法。难点在于能使学生正确使用There be句式的单、复数形式及其长句的表达方法。学生要能够在日常生活中熟练用英语描述一个房间及里面的物品，并正确地讲出物品所处的相对位置，能够相互交流。 教学目标： 1、 知识目标：第四课时主要是让学生熟练掌握几个方位单词：in，on, under, behind, near，能够听、说、读、写这些单词。能够听说、认读单词：over, in front of 2、能力目标：能够听说、认读：Where’s the …? It’s …. 能用英语很好地简单描述自己的房间，能够准确说出房间中物品的位置。 3、情感目标：培养学生的英语兴趣，用英语表达物品、方位的习惯，培养他们的观察能力和空间想象能力，增强方位感，培养其与他人合作学习的品质。 4、文化目标：了解几种住宅的英语名称及差异。 重点难点：表示位置的介词和There be句型的用法。学生要能正确使用There be句式的单、复数形式及长句的表达。 二、说教法： 为了顺利完成以上教学目标，更好地突出重点、突破难点，我采用了图片和道具，运用多种教学方法以吸引学生的注意力，让学生看一看，说一说，做一做，迎合小学生的特点，注重趣味教学，让他们在动中学，在学中动，不断操练重点单词和句子，达到引导学生思维，培养学生观察能力和语言表达能力，在愉快的气氛中激发兴趣，掌握知识。 三、说学法： 学法是学习活动规律的总结。以新课标要求为目标，本着教师引导，学生主导的理念，这节课更多的是让学生自己观察了之后进行表达，同时根据自己对方位词的理解摆放物品，加深印象，通过看、听、说、做，帮助学生掌握重点，同时设计不同深度的问题和任务，适合不同层次地学生，努力使学生的积极性得到最大限度提高，增强课堂的活跃性和趣味性。 四、说教学过程： 1、 Warm-up Teacher draws a room on the blackboard, asking: I have my own room. Come and look at it. What’s in my room? Teacher asks Ss to introduce their bedrooms. T: What’s your room like? 通过问答复习学过的单词和句型，同时为引出后面的新课作准备。 2、Presentation 1).Teacher draws a small box on the end table. T: In my bedroom, there is a small box. Where is the box? Teach the word “on”. 通过盒子引出on这一单词，同时为自然地为后面老师拿出盒子铺垫。 2). Teacher brings out the box in the picture and put it on the desk. T: Where is the box??? Ss: It’s on the desk. Let Ss guess what’s in the box. Teach the word “in”. 让学生猜一猜盒子里有些什么，激起学生的好奇心，同时给了学生直观的感受什么是in. 3). Teacher puts the mirror at different positions of the box and teaches the words: under, behind, over, in front of. 教师从盒子中拿出镜子后把它放于不同的位置，使学生对方位词有更直接的理解。 4). Ask Ss to put their pencils or pencil cases at the right direction according to teacher’s order. 做一做调动了课堂气氛，也增进了学生对新知识的掌握 5). Ask Ss to describe my bedroom. Then ask Ss to describe their classroom.
