Unit 2 It's in the west. 教学目标 1.能够听说Where is New York? It's in the east of America.之类的句型。 2.掌握east, north, south, west 四个基本方位用英语的表达, 并学会用基本句型描述现实生活中的地点。【来源：21cnj y.co m】 3.让学生通过对祖国一些城市地点的描述, 进而体会祖国的博大与辽阔, 增强他们的爱国之情。 教学重点 四个基本方位east, west, north, south及句型It's?in the east/west/north/south... of .... 并能根据不同的地点描述其方位。 教学难点 运用所学知识在现实生活中与人交流。 教学过程 1.热身复习, 对话导入。 (1)老师展示中国地图并介绍：“This is a map of China. I am from... It's in the west of China.”, 然后对句子进行解释, 接着提问：“Where are you from?”。班级内有外省的学生, 用Where is he from?引导更多的学生参与对话。 (2)老师继续和学生进行对话Who is Simon? Where is he from? (3)老师问题引导：Can you tell me something about America? (4)老师再抛出一个问题“Where is Washington DC/ New York?” 并顺适展出美国的地图, 以此导入新课。21·世纪 教育网 2.任务呈现, 方位学习。 (1)在地图上标注东(east)、南(south)、西(west)、北(north)。教会学生这些单词的发音。然后用学生喜欢、也容易模仿的chant来重复学习方位。 East, east, in the east.
