Lesson 5 What does she do? 【第一课时】 【教学目标】 1.知识目标。 (1)能听、说、认读、会写单词people,能听、说、认读单间white、ride、bike、light、five。 (2)能听、说、认读、会写主要句型“What does he/she do? He/she is a …” (3)了解元音字母i的长音音标/ai/,掌握字母i的发音规律。 2.能力目标。 (1)能准确模仿本课录音中的内容。 (2)能在图片帮助下成在真实情境中,运用句型“What does she/he do? She/ He is a teacher/…She teaches an/...”询问某人的工作并予以回答。 3.情感态度、文化意识、学习策略 (1)培养学生观察和思考的能力,引导学生初步形成英语思维意识。 (2)让学生根据发音规律拼读单词,逐步形成有效的学习策略。 【教学重难点】 1.教学重点。 在实际情境中运用句型“What does she/he do? She/ He is a teacher/ ...She/ He teaches art/…”询问某人的工作及其回答。 2.教学难点。 (1)动词第三人称单数的用法以及听、说、读、写单词people、clever、song、worry、strong、find (2)掌握元音字母在单词中发长音为/?i/并能逐步自主拼读单词。 【教学准备】 1.教师准备。 课本、转盘、单词卡,配套音响、教学桂用、多媒体课件等。 2.学生准备。 课本,家庭照片。 【教学过程】 1.热身活动。 师生用英语互致问候。 (2)教师播放英文歌曲What does he do?.创设轻松的学习氛围,导入本课话题。 (3)游戏:火眼金睛。 教师出示学生学过的此 表示职业的单词图片,让学生快看快说,复习职业名同。如teacher、doctor、diver、farmer、nurse、pupil、worker等。 (4)自由交际。 教师引导学生围绕职业图片讨论,“What is she/he? She/ He is a…is she/ he a…?”.然后学生两人一组进行问答。 2.新知呈现与操练。 (1)教师出示一名学生的家庭照片:“Look, this is Zhang Peng's family photo. There are many people in Zhang Peng's family. Who is this woman?”引导该生回答: “She is my mother/…”.教师继续问:“What is she?”,引导学生回答:“She is…”,教师继续问:“Pardon? What does she do?”,帮助该学生回答: “She is a…”,教师板书句型:“What does she do? She is a…”.并领读。 (2)教师出示板块教学挂图或多媒体课件:“Tom and his fiend are talking about his family photo. Who are they talking about?”,并播放录音或媒体课件,学生听并回答,“Tom's aunt and uncle”. (3)教师继续追问:“Yes. they are talking about Tom's aunt and uncle. What does Tom's aunt do? What does Tom's uncle do? Let's listen and find the answers.”,教师再次播放录音或多媒体课件,学生听并回答问题。教师板书主要句型“She is a teacher. She teaches art. He is a policeman. He helps people”.提醒学生注意动词的第三人称单数形式。然后教师出示单词卡people.教读并解释词义,学生集体读成以开火车的形式朗读。 (4)教师播放录音,学生听音模仿、跟读,然后学生分小组朗读并展示。 (5)教师出示板块二挂图,指着Mr Zhang的图片,“Look! Who is he? What does he do? Let's listen and answer.”,然后播放录音,学生听并回答,“He is Mr Zhang. He is a worker. He makes cars.”教师提醒学生注意动词第三人称单数形式-s (6)教师利用多媒体课件或教学挂图呈现板块二的图片,让学生分小组根据图片编练对话。 (7)教师出示Pronunciation板块的单词图片:“Look! What's this? It's a bike. What colour is it? Yes, it's white. How many bikes do you see? Yes. you see five. 1et's ride the bikes. OK? Oh. watch out! The light is red. Stop!”,然后板书单词bike、white、five、 ... ...
