Lesson 18 一、教学目标： 1、能够听说认读，并简单运用以下单词或短语：help old people, keep off the grass, take good care of young children, play on the street, pick flowers, litter。能够听说读写以下单词：wait, take, young, child, children, people。 2、能够培养学生学会使用功能句： You must wait for the green light. You mustn’t cross the street when the light is red. 3、能够辨别和识记字母组合ir在英语单词中的读音。能有节奏地朗读含有ir字母组合的歌谣，初步掌握字母组合ir的发音规律。 4、引导学生能够在生活情景中灵活运用must, mustn’t进行交际，并能够培养学生遵守各种公共社会规则，自觉劝阻不遵守公共社会规则的人。最终让我们的社会更加和谐。 二、教学重、难点： 重点：能够掌握本课出现的单词或短语：help old people, keep off the grass, take good care of young children, play on the street, pick flowers, litter。四会单词wait, take, young, child, children, people。功能句： You must wait for the green light. You mustn’t cross the street when the light is red. 难点：must和mustn’t表示告诫的句型应用。 三、学情分析 五年级的小学生在学习英语上已经有了一定的基础，他们具备较强的模仿能力并具备一定的语言学习基础。本课是第三单元的第六课时，同学们已在前几课学习了school rules, home rules，本课是让学生们掌握social rules。培养学生遵守各种公共社会规则，自觉劝阻不遵守公共社会规则的人。 四、教学活动： 1、 Warm up： （1）Greeting: T: Class begins.
